Establishment of a university
Sakarya University of Applied Sciences
Sakarya University of Applied Sciences was established in 1976 as a higher institute. It joined Istanbul Technical University in 1982 to become a college of engineering. In 1992, it separated from Istanbul University to become affiliated with Sakarya University in the same province. In 2018, it became an independent university of applied sciences, an internationally recognized university for applied education and research.

Student housing at the university
It provides a comfortable, enjoyable, warm, and healthy environment for students. It is spacious and includes rooms, dining rooms, a study area, a play area, a cafeteria, and a restaurant. Each room includes a toilet, a bed base, storage, a minibar, a personal safe, a wardrobe, unlimited Wi-Fi, digital TV broadcasting, and central air conditioning with hot and cold water.
