University of Aghdir
Iğdır University is a public university in Turkey. Its origins go back to the Iğdır Vocational Training Institute, affiliated with Caucasus University. It began serving 20 students and 16 teachers in the same year. Within a short period, the institute began steadily growing, with eight formal education programs and five secondary programs serving 1,500 students. In 2001, the city, known for its agricultural wealth, began efforts to establish a college in the region, which was completed in 2006.
