Beykoz University was established in Istanbul, Turkey, on August 20, 2016. It is a private university. Its history dates back to 2008, when the first stone was laid by the Beykoz Vocational Logistics School.

Despite its recent establishment, Beykoz University is considered one of the world's leading universities, thanks to its adoption of English as the primary language of instruction, which has encouraged a large number of international students to study there. Beykoz University is located on the Asian side of Istanbul. Its campus is located in the Beykoz district, one of the oldest and most luxurious neighborhoods in Istanbul, specifically in Kavacık.
