Dogus University was founded in 1995 by a foundation and opened its doors to students on July 9, 1997. Located in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul, the university is a non-profit foundation.
Döğüş University has a distinguished reputation, having signed numerous student and faculty exchange agreements with 22 European countries. It recognizes foreign degrees and awards diplomas to students.
