Established in 1999, Horizon University is a private, non-profit educational institution located in Ankara. It is officially accredited and recognized by YÖK (the Council of Higher Education). Horizon University is a small institution, with an enrollment ranging from 1,999 to 4,000 students. It offers a variety of courses and programs leading to officially recognized degrees, such as bachelor's degrees, in several fields of study.
In addition to its role as an educational institution, Horizon University was established as a founding institution of the Turkish Traffic Accident Prevention Foundation, which was founded in 1972. This foundation aims to provide services resulting from traffic accidents, such as emergency services, medical and social relief, and rehabilitation services. In addition, the foundation works to provide all types of required jobs, provide necessary equipment, and cooperate with institutions to hold related courses and seminars.
