The profession of the foreigner seeking a work permit in Turkey must not be prohibited for other foreigners in Turkey. Medical professions, in general, are prohibited for foreigners.

Some professions require the foreigner to amend his/her certificate to practice certain professions in Turkey.

The foreigner must have a valid residency permit in Turkey or an effective asylum kimlik. A permanent address in Turkey must be registered with the Population Registry in Türkiye.
