Are the documents required for children under 18 the same as for adults?

- Online appointment from the Ministry of Immigration website.
- Health insurance for persons over the age of eighteen and under the age of sixty-five.
- Four biometric passport photos required for applying for residency.
- A new version of the rental contract prepared by a notary public in the presence of the tenant and the property owner (additional documents may be requested from the property owner, such as a copy of the title deed).
- A photocopy of the passport, visa, and latest entry stamp (don't forget to bring the original passport to the appointment date).
- A copy of the passport translated into Turkish and notarized.
- Payment of the required residency fees, which vary according to nationality.
- Tax number, obtained from the Turkish Tax Office.
- Birth certificate for children under the age of eighteen, translated into Turkish and notarized.
- Family booklet or family statement, translated into Turkish and notarized.
- A copy of the father and mother's passports.
- A copy of the first page of the father and mother's residency records.
- The father's consent for the mother to complete the procedures during the residency application, which is prepared by a notary public.
