Open education at the additional university

Distance education and open education

About the service

The second university:

Open education is an educational system that aims to provide university education opportunities to all individuals, regardless of their location or personal circumstances. This system offers lessons and study materials online, enabling students to study and learn anytime, anywhere. It also allows students to better organize their time, aligning it with their daily schedule and the demands of their personal and professional lives. The open education system offers several advantages, including eliminating the need for daily campus attendance; attendance is limited to midterm and final exams. This system also provides a variety of educational resources, such as text and audio lectures, educational videos, and books. It also allows access to social media platforms and educational forums to connect with professors and colleagues, and to exchange experiences and knowledge. The open education system is an invaluable opportunity for those unable to enroll in public or private universities, whether due to distance, financial constraints, or other reasons. Turkish universities offer open education offices in most Turkish cities to facilitate the registration process and obtain a card. The open education system is considered one of the best options for students seeking a university degree but unable to attend university regularly due to personal circumstances. It provides them with the opportunity to obtain higher education at their fingertips. Furthermore, the open education system allows students to learn at their own pace and according to their learning style, making it a good option for students who prefer to learn independently. Furthermore, the open education system allows students to save significant costs compared to traditional university attendance, as educational materials are provided online, eliminating the need to purchase textbooks. Travel and accommodation costs are also reduced. Finally, the open education system provides students with the opportunity to study and obtain a university degree from an accredited university, which can open the door to better job opportunities and increase their chances of success. Enrollment through another university registration: The second university system (İkinci Üniversitesi) is an important option for students wishing to study open education in Türkiye. This system allows students to enroll in any university in Turkey, regardless of its branch. This branch does not necessarily have to be the same branch the student wishes to study through open education. It is important to note that students seeking an open education degree must secure a seat in a regular education college in the same branch. There is no difference between obtaining a degree at an open education institute or a regular education college. In this way, students can obtain an internationally recognized university degree through open education in Turkey, without having to enroll in regular education at traditional Turkish universities. Universities that Offer Open Education: Three universities in Turkey offer the open education system: Anadolu University, Istanbul University, and Anadolu University. Anadolu University is the oldest in this field, having begun offering its system in the 1980s. The university is distinguished by its great diversity of specializations and branches, offering more than 60 majors. It provides comprehensive information about each branch, including the fields in which students can work after graduation and the advantages of each branch. The passing system is somewhat lenient, as it relies on students' grade point averages in the subject. The passing threshold can be as low as 30 percent, with those with a score above that considered successful. Istanbul University began offering the open education system in 2010 and is considered one of the emerging universities in this field. The university offers a range of modern majors not offered at Anadolu University. Regarding the university's passing system, a score above 40 is required to pass the subject, making it more difficult than Anadolu University's system. Atatürk University is considered a newer university in this field, having begun offering its system in 2017. The university offers distinguished programs in a number of modern majors and is committed to providing students with modern educational resources. The university requires a passing grade of no less than 50 in the subject, which makes its system more stringent than others ----- Taif Company provides the registration service for second university education (open education).
