Establishment of a university

Yildirim Beyazit

Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt State University was established by Law No. 27648 of the Turkish Grand National Assembly on June 21, 2010. The university began its educational activities on November 3, 2011. The university was established with the aim of creating an educational program that addresses contemporary issues and is based on an "open" approach, far from the closed, geographically confined approach.

About the university's educational level

Although Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University is considered a young university, it hosts a faculty with extensive and diverse experience. Most of the university's current faculty members worked at other universities before moving to Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Furthermore, although Yıldırım Beyazıt University is still in its infancy, it currently has 915 academic professors recruited from Europe and prestigious universities in Turkey.
