Near East University (NEU) was founded in 1988 and is one of the oldest universities in Turkish Cyprus. Located in the capital, Nicosia (Lefkoşa), it boasts a highly qualified and dedicated staff. NEU is considered a distinguished educational institution on a global level.

About the university's educational level
Near East University is a major educational center in central Turkish Cyprus, pioneering the establishment of the country's first colleges. The university offers opportunities to more than 26,000 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students from over 90 different countries. It boasts a broad array of 18 faculties, 225 departments, branches, and majors, five vocational schools offering more than 200 master's and doctoral programs, and four institutes and 29 research centers.
