Pamukkale University
Pamukalı University was established as a public university in southwestern Turkey. Its history dates back to 1957, when a teacher training school was established. In 1976, it was transformed into a Pedagogical Institute, and on July 20, 1982, it was upgraded to the Higher Institute of Pedagogy, affiliated with 9 Eylül University. In 1989, the university began offering a four-year education program. On November 10, 1992, Pamukalı University was established as an independent entity, and several faculties and institutes were subsequently added and established under the university's umbrella.
