Yeni Yüzül University was founded in 1981 by Law No. 2547 of the Turkish Parliament. It was established as a public university with the aim of providing distinguished higher education and promoting scientific research.
The university officially opened in 1982 and began offering undergraduate programs in a variety of academic disciplines. The university's main campus is located in the Topkapi district of European Istanbul.
Since its founding, Yeni Yüzül University has experienced steady growth and continuous development. Numerous faculties, institutes, research centers, and vocational schools have been established under the university's umbrella to meet the needs of higher education and research in Türkiye.
