Baskent University was founded in Ankara, the Turkish capital, in 1994. Today, it has become one of the most prominent institutions of higher education in Turkey. The university works to raise the level of education and training for students, enabling them to attain the global knowledge required in the information age. Istanbul Yeskent University employs advanced methods of education and research to support national and international progress and development, utilizing local and national technology. The university comprises 11 faculties, 7 institutes, 6 vocational schools, a School of Foreign Languages, and approximately 13 research centers.
