Sivas University of Science and Technology
The university was founded on February 9, 1974, in the city of Sivas. The founding coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. The campus covers an area of 11,000 acres. Today, the university comprises 17 faculties, five institutes, one national conservatory, five higher education institutes, and 14 vocational training institutes. Sivas Republic University is ranked 20th globally in 2020, while it is ranked 42nd in Türkiye.

The Erasmus programme aims to improve students' skills and employability while modernising education, training and youth employment. The university offers numerous study opportunities at its partner universities abroad (more than 600 exchange agreements with European universities).
