Karabük University is located in the northern Black Sea region, specifically in Karabük Province. Founded on May 29, 2007, the university boasts a spacious and comprehensive campus housing numerous faculties, departments, institutes, and research centers, as well as a large library.

About the university's educational level
The university was merged with some educational institutions and faculties affiliated with Zonguldak University, and also incorporated faculties and educational institutions affiliated with other universities in the Black Sea region.
Karabük University comprises 16 faculties, four graduate institutes, 13 institutes and vocational schools, and 15 research and application centers. It also includes a teaching and research hospital with a capacity of 440 beds.
