Istanbul Kultur University (IKU) is one of the oldest private higher education institutions in Turkey. The university was founded in 1997 by the Kultur Education Foundation (KEV) in Istanbul. At that time, the university began with 157 students and 32 faculty members, and had only three faculties. Since then, it has witnessed continuous development and remarkable growth, becoming one of the leading universities in Turkey, particularly in Istanbul.
With over 60 years of experience, IKU now ranks among the top Turkish universities, providing academic education at the highest levels, aligned with contemporary local and global values and international standards.
