Osmaniye University Korkut Ata
The history of Osmaniye Korkut Ata University dates back to 1976, when it was initially established as the Osmaniye Basic Studies School under the supervision of the Ministry of National Education. In 1981, the school was transformed into the Osmaniye Basic Studies Institute, which provided its services in a building belonging to the Osmaniye Municipality. Osmaniye Korkut Ata University was established in its current official form and gained administrative and academic independence in 2007 as part of the state's plan to develop the country's human resources development system.
